Traducir sentencias de divorcio

En la vida no siempre sale todo bien. Si un matrimonio se ha separado y el divorcio es firme, cada uno de los excónyuges recibe una sentencia de divorcio. Esto podría considerarse una mera formalidad, sin embargo, la sentencia de divorcio se debe presentar en distintas situaciones. Esto incluye, por ejemplo:

  • Inscripción de un nuevo matrimonio.
  • Cambio de apellido, p. ej., cuando se retoma el apellido de soltero/a.
  • Presentación de la sentencia de divorcio en una agencia de empleo para poder calcular la pensión alimenticia y las prestaciones sociales.
  • Para acreditar que no existe ninguna obligación de asumir los gastos de sepelio cuando uno de los excónyuges fallece.

En el caso de las sentencias de divorcio extranjeras, en Alemania normalmente se necesita una apostilla, y se debe presentar una traducción jurada al alemán de estos dos documentos ante las autoridades pertinentes. Si se celebra un nuevo matrimonio, en determinadas circunstancias también se puede exigir la presentación de la antigua acta de matrimonio, incluida la mención de la separación al margen. Si el matrimonio ha tenido lugar en el extranjero, también hay que traducir el acta de matrimonio.
