Anyone wishing to take a trip abroad usually requires a visa. In many cases, however, a visa alone is not enough, since then you’ll need other documents to make the visit, for instance a residence permit, a residence certificate, a passport, or a birth certificate (of your accompanying child). The types of documents you need vary depending on the country you intend to visit, and must be submitted in the form of a certified translation.

One important document that must be presented by students wishing to pursue academic studies in Germany, for example, is a residence permit for students, which the German university in question requires for enrolment – and then the enrolment procedure itself depends on the presentation of school and academic certificates and other documents that must also be translated.
Information on the documents that are required can be obtained from the embassy or consulate of the target country – we’d be glad to take care of the translations of your papers.
