Comprobar si hay espacios anteriores o posteriores en Idiom WorldServer Desktop Workbench

Quien trabaje de vez en cuando con la herramienta TAO Idiom WorldServer Desktop Workbench, sabrá que tiene sus trucos. Puede suceder que el cliente le advierta de que el número de espacios en cada uno de los segmentos del texto de destino debe coincidir con los del texto de origen.

Hace poco, un compañero nos dio un consejo muy práctico para comprobar en Idiom WorldServer Desktop Workbench v9.0.1.60 que hay la misma cantidad de espacios anteriores y posteriores en el texto de origen y de destino. A continuación le contamos cómo.

En la parte superior derecha de la pantalla, junto a la fila «Quick Search», hay que elegir «SQL Query» en lugar de «All» en la lista desplegable de filtros. Acto seguido se abre una ventana de diálogo. Aquí hay que introducir las siguientes expresiones en «Enter the expression for a SQL-WHERE clause» y después hacer clic en «OK»:

Comprobar si tanto el texto de destino como el de origen contienen un espacio posterior:
[Source] like "* " and [Target] not like "* "
(Atención, después de los dos * entre comillas rectas hay un espacio)

Asegurarse de que el texto de destino, al contrario que el de origen, no contiene ningún espacio posterior:

Comprobar si tanto el texto de destino como el de origen contienen un espacio anterior:

Asegurarse de que el texto de destino, al contrario que el de origen, no contiene ningún espacio anterior:
[Target] like " *" and [Source] not like " *"
