Adoptions that are decided and arranged in foreign countries can also be recognized in Germany. If you wish to have the adoption of a child from a foreign country recognized in Germany, you must submit many documents to the responsible regional court. If these documents have been issued in a foreign language (for example birth certificates or certificates of descent, proof of nationality, registration certificate, adoption decision, social welfare reports etc.), you must present them as certified translations. We would be glad to support you in the translation of the necessary documents and files into German.
