A gentleman came to us who wanted a wedding speech translated into Spanish. In order to do this he wanted a phonetic transcription which he could read out without any knowledge of Spanish.

The background to this request was that his daughter was marrying a Spaniard. He came to us with this special request because he wanted to be sure that the Spanish relatives would also understand his speech. Somewhat of a challenge - but we did it!

The whole thing was a great success. The customer told us later that everyone was completely surprised by his “Spanish learned overnight” - and he came back to us a year later with the next job. He needed to make another speech: A new baby had arrived. :-)
